Alvin Camba
Political Economist and Sociologist (China-Southeast Asia Researcher)
Alvin Camba is a specialist in critical materials and supply-chain strategy, with a PhD in Sociology from Johns Hopkins University. He is a Lead Scientist at the AI/analytics company Lyvi, and Non-resident Fellow at the Atlantic Council – Indo-Pacific Security Initiative, Scowcroft Center for Strategy and Security. His research focuses on China-Southeast Asia relations, rare-earth and battery-mineral value chains, and geopolitical risk, and he has contributed to major policy reports and briefed organisations such as the Carnegie Endowment for International Peace, the U.S. State Department and various intelligence agencies.
