Beatriz de la Fuente is a career Chilean diplomat who has held numerous senior-level positions, including Head of the Division for North America, Central America, and the Caribbean at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Chile, Deputy Chief of Mission in Washington, D.C., and Consul in Ottawa. In November 2024, she was appointed Ambassador of Chile to Australia. She holds a Master’s degree in International Public Policy from Johns Hopkins SAIS, a Diploma in International Relations from IIAP in Paris, and graduated with honors from both the Chilean Diplomatic Academy and the University of Chile.
